The Sorcerer and the Fox

The Legend's Story
Muleteers heading to the high pastures at midnight were once followed by a mocking fox. The beast avoided passing in front of a chapel, circling it instead—a sign of a sorcerer led by the devil. Later, a farmer who broke a persistent fox's leg with a rake found a local man in the village the following day with a broken leg. When asked what happened, the man replied: "You know very well."
