Henri Frédet

Henri Frédet (1877–1955) was a major industrialist from Isère, heir to a pioneering tradition of hydroelectricity. He dedicated his career to developing hydroelectric power to supply his factories. As early as 1918, he expressed the desire to develop the upper Romanche basin and developed several projects for the construction of a dam at Chambon, laying the technical and conceptual foundations of the structure.
