The Saint-Roch Chapel: a forgotten relic

This photo, taken by Marcel Fleureau around 1950, shows the Saint-Roch chapel, already in ruins at that time. A witness of the past, swallowed by nature, as evidenced by the tree next to it, now mature, and the forest in the background, formerly a young plantation. An image that reminds us of the power of time and nature, gradually swallowing the traces of man.
