Chapelle Saint-Antoine des Cours

Information
The Saint-Antoine chapel is an isolated building in the meadows, dominating the road about a hundred meters southwest of the hamlet of Les Cours. On its triumphal arch, one can see the inscription "Sancte Antonio / ora pro nobis". Its construction probably dates back to the mid-18th century or before, although no precise date can be established. The chapel is associated with the village festival of Les Cours, which takes place in summer. Initially dedicated to Saint Anthony, the festival was changed to Saint Anne because of the harsh winter weather conditions. The Saint-Antoine chapel thus offers a place of celebration in a milder atmosphere.
